Jumpstart South Central Wisconsin strengthens the regional economy by helping entrepreneurs start, grow, and sustain their businesses. We do this through community-informed training,  business development support, entrepreneurship training, and technology integration, built around three core pillars: entrepreneurship development, technology integration through our Tech Tank initiative, and nonprofit capacity building. We center entrepreneurs in underserved communities because the gap is real. Too many capable founders in our region still face barriers to capital, networks, and the know-how to grow. When they succeed, the whole region benefits through more jobs, more local ownership, and more wealth that stays in our community.

Founded in April 2019 as Rock County Jumpstart, a fiscally sponsored project, the organization became an an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit in October 2025. Jumpstart South Central Wisconsin is growing beyond Rock County to reach entrepreneurs across Rock, Green, Jefferson, and Walworth Counties.
